Access Bars Practitioner

I'm Adam Hatheway, a dedicated practitioner at Tend, whose life was profoundly transformed by Access Bars. I've always been filled with curiosity and possessed a passion and thirst for discovery. I have over 20 years experience (both good and bad so I can identify) of experience in the church. I was formally trained in theology, scripture, and ministry and have worked with underprivileged youth as well as peer groups. I have seen my ups and downs, the benefits of and downsides of dogmatic practices and teachings. I have seen it all and been through most. In my later years, I went through what I have dubbed my "self-reclamation" project. It has been a life long process of transformation culminating over the last six years. I was introduced to the practice of Access Bars by my wife, Kathryn. By this time I was pretty skeptical of most so-called treatments, especially of the energetic sort. But my now friend, Paula, put her hands on my head and my life was forever changed- and for the better. Sounds dramatic, but it is true. At first, I appreciated laying there and just feeling ultra relaxed, but after each session, it would seem as if a new layer of revelation was being peeled back, and I found the strength, courage, and determination to face the challenges and fears that were holding me back. Ever since I began this journey one thing is at least for certain: I am passionate about my own and others' self-reclamation projects. I hope if you're looking for transformation for your betterment you find what you're looking for, and I'd be very honored to have a small place in that. Reclaim yourself as I did!

Reiki Master

Kathryn brings a unique blend of visionary leadership and clinical training to her role at tend. As a Reiki Master and 200H RYT certified Yoga Teacher, Kathryn embodies a transformative spirit.
Kathryn’s journey in health began with a robust academic and professional background, earning a Doctor of Pharmacy, a Master of Science in Health-System Pharmacy Administration, 2 years of clinical residency and a fellowship in Medication Safety. Her career spans 20 years in healthcare improvement leadership roles where she is known for designing and implementing status-quo smashing strategies, enhancing operational efficiencies and leading teams through cultural shifts in top-tier clinical, consulting, supply chain and pharmaceutical organizations.
Her path to transforming individual lives by teaching energy work is driven by her belief in the power of energy healing — a practice not just learned but lived. Through personal triumphs and trials, including two divorces, multiple career changes, recovery from alcohol addiction, and the complexities of supporting a child diagnosed with DMDD (Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder), she embraced each challenge as an opportunity for profound growth. These experiences have not only shaped her approach to holistic healing but have deepened her commitment to helping others navigate their own renewal by demystifying the transformation process. Her goal is to make change accessible to anyone willing to take good care of themselves.

Yoga Instructor

I'm Jennifer Flores, one of the co-founders of this vibrant community.
My journey into the world of yoga didn't begin until my early 40s. Initially, I had no intention of becoming a teacher—I was simply seeking to deepen my understanding of a practice that had transformed my body and soul in ways I never thought possible. For over two decades, I had devoted myself to cardio workouts, but it wasn't until I discovered yoga that I truly experienced holistic well-being.
Yoga became more than just a physical exercise; it became a profound exploration of self. It forced me to confront aspects of myself that I had long avoided, to release the weight of emotional baggage I didn't even realize I was carrying. Through the practice of yoga, I found empowerment in vulnerability and strength in surrender.
Even after completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training (YTT), I hesitated to step into the role of teacher. But as I continued to witness the transformative power of yoga in my own life and in the lives of others, I knew I had to share this gift with the world. The decision to become a teacher was guided by the belief that the greatest growth often comes from surrendering to the unknown.
At tend, we believe in the profound ability of energetic healing to facilitate growth and self-discovery. Whether you're new to the practice or a seasoned yogi, our community is here to support you on your journey towards greater well-being. Join us as we embrace the transformative power of surrender and embark on a path of holistic healing.
With love and light,
Jennifer
